Meet the Team


Ryan Mahle

Ryan Mahle is a passionate Catholic speaker and evangelist and currently serves as both the Managing Director for the New Evangelization and Coordinator of Marriage Preparation for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. He has worked on various projects for Dynamic Catholic and Encounter Ministries, has served as both a high school theology teacher and parish youth minister, and has spoken at youth events throughout the country. Ryan is excited about leading people to Jesus, reviving parishes and schools, and activating Catholics in the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to be missionary disciples! After practicing geotechnical engineering for five years, Ryan experienced the call to pursue graduate studies in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. A devoted husband and father, Ryan and his wife have four young children. Ryan also coaches baseball for Archbishop Alter High School in Kettering.


Sarah Rogers

Sarah Rogers is the Assistant to the Managing Director for the New Evangelization. Her work is focused on all things young adult. Through the lens of truth, goodness, and beauty, she heads up young adult events, formation, and person to person ministry throughout the Cincinnati region of the Archdiocese. Sarah is 24, born and raised in Cincinnati. Currently residing on the west side. She is determined to try every coffee shop in the tri-state area, and helps everyone in the office keep up to date on current pop culture and hip-hop.


Nicholas Hardesty

Nicholas Hardesty is the Coordinator of Content and Evangelization for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. He creates online courses that form teachers and catechists in their Catholic faith, and gives talks at retreats, workshops, and in-service days throughout the Archdiocese. He is also the author of the “Seize the Moment” column in The Catholic Telegraph, and a Regional Missionary for St. Paul Street Evangelization. He is passionate about creating disciples and sending disciples on mission. He has graduate degrees in Theology and Mental Health Counseling. Before coming to work at the Archdiocese he was a Director of Religious Education at a parish in his hometown of Owensboro, KY, and a Web Content Writer for Dynamic Catholic. He lives in Northern Kentucky with his wife and 3 children.


Sean Ater

Since 2018, Sean has been the Director of the Office for Evangelization and Discipleship, where he leads an amazing team of Missionary Disciples dedicated to inspiring and training parish and school leaders to become Missionary Disciples. Before that he directed the New Evangelization efforts in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. His work included mentoring parish staff in implementing an intentional evangelization process that is centered on conversion and person-to-person accompaniment, and leading workshops on small group evangelization and 1-on-1 mentoring. Before coming to work at the Archdiocese he was blessed to work in multiple parishes directing religious education, catechesis, and evangelization efforts. He lives in Milford, OH with his wife and 4 children. They are members of St. Gertrude Parish.
